    Lyrics

No lyrics, just the story behind "Benson up a Tree"
When I initially moved to the Santa Cruz mountains my orange tabby Benson went missing for three days. After posting signs and contact neighbors, I finally found a psychic in Hollywood that told me exactly where to look for him. She was right! He was up a tree and couldn't figure out how to climb down. He was so high we couldn't safely climb. Fortunately, my boyfriend at the time was a rock climber. He donned his climbing gear and successfully retrieved Benson. Benson left this world at the age of 15 in my arms on the Winter Solstice 2001.
